Shirt distribution update - update (new problem)

Hey, gang.

Everything will still be going as planned re: the t-shirts. They will be sorted en-route and distributed on Night 0. Extras will be available for purchase throughout the rally (same for stickers)

The only change is that it will be Daniel Friedman in charge of it and not me (he of the PBR-themed Volvo 960 last year) He is still running as a marshal and will be bringing his S/O to keep the marshal count the same.

I really wanted to go this year but the Smart car ride & drive promotion that I'm working in Toronto got pushed forward two weeks and now overlaps the rally. It was a last-minute change, and I'm bummed about it, but I need the contract. This is for the same marketing company that ran the Fiesta Movement.

So, keep those updates rolling in, and I'll be checking in via e-mail from Toronto over the course of the rally.

Further update.

Danny's VW had an axle start binding just north of Chicago and he's now back in Milwaukee trying to source a new one. It's looking like he may be out.

The most expedient option may be to get the shirts sorted & boxed and shipped to the Night 4 hotel in Alabama. Looking for a trustworthy volunteer to step up and handle distribution and the sale of the remaining shirts - there's a set of shirts in it for you.

Yes, it seems like absolutely everything is going wrong this year, but then again, BA/BE is an event dedicated to the aggregation of fiascoes.
